The inspection of finished tinplate printing products is divided into two types: conventional physical and chemical inspection and special requirement inspection. The contents of routine physical and chemical inspection include:

(1) Visual inspection mainly relies on naked-eye observation. That is, the front and back sides of the tinplate printing products should have no obvious dirt or wrinkles. There are no obvious scratches on the main parts of the printed surface. Minor scratches are allowed on secondary areas. The lines of the text are clear, complete and undistorted. The dots are clear, complete and distinct in layers. The ink color is uniform and the hue is accurate.

(2) Physical and Chemical indicators Physical and chemical indicators include: impact strength, adhesion, gloss, whiteness, surface hardness of the ink layer, heat resistance, overprinting, etc. In addition, there are special requirements such as sulfur resistance test and acid resistance test, which refer to additional tests beyond the above-mentioned routine tests.
